This is a guide on how to do Frost walk. Approximate time needed is 2 hours, however this will vary based on levels of the party and such.
- you enter by land of biting
- upon entry you will see an npc, select the quest open door (only one person has to do this) and the quest a helping hand
- you will have to kill mobs throughout to open the doors (usually anger of ice, however some doors are opened by bosses)
- the groups of mobs are easy to kill and can easily be taken care of with aoes and party heal
- in each hallway be sure to check in the sky for flying archer mobs, the easiest way to kill these is to have someone with range hit them and then run back so they will come down and the melee classes can hit them
- in the first hallway, take the first open path to the left side, clear until you can kill the anger of ice, go back out into the hallway
- now take the 2nd open doorway on the left side, go in and again clear until you can kill the anger of ice, other mobs are optional
- run back out to the hallway and go until you see the closed door at the end, go through the open doorway on the right side before that door
- follow the pathway until you get to the boss room
FIRST BOSS: Thunder Dragon:
- this boss will spawn orange circles on the floor, if you are on one run out of it
-after the boss has died an npc will spawn with a quest
- now return to the hallway, the door will be open, there are new mobs called Frost Flamen, they aoe and it causes skill interrupts, best to kill these first
- take the open path on the left
- there is another new mob in the room this path leads to called Frost City Officients, they aoe and skill interrupt as well, you first see them in the group of blue foxes
- follow the path into a big open room with an npc, you may have a quest to turn in, however don't take the quest called the battle yet
SECOND BOSS: Devil Cry III:
- once you take the quest the battle, the boss will spawn and around him will be 5 circles (4 in front and 1 in back) however you only need to deal with 3 of them
- in each circle a mob will spawn (i believe 4 times each) they don't hit back or anything, go to the left most circle first and kill the mob until it doesn't spawn again and move onto the next circle, then the 3rd circle
- the boss will now be unfrozen
- The boss will talk about a cyronite curse and then one person will become frozen and take damage over time, so purify fast
- after the boss dies mobs will spawn behind him as well as an npc where he was
- you only need to kill the left group of mobs and then take that path out of the room
- take the left path until you come a doorway on the right side with an npc inside the room named Ariel
- have everyone talk to Ariel at the same time because once you take the quest the boss comes
THIRD BOSS: DragonDivine Centaur:
- he comes from behind (assuming you are still facing the npc named Ariel) and he will spawn mobs, best to have one or two people take care of the mobs while the rest of the party focuses on the boss
- After killing the boss talk to Jensen
- go back out into the hallway and continue into the room, open the door and follow the path, take the open pathway on the left
FOURTH BOSS: Malefic Shudra:
- this boss walks around in his room so be careful when clearing mobs. while you fight him he will spawn mobs that aoe and cause skill interrupts, it's best to have two people take care of these while the rest of the party focuses on the boss. However, that is not all the boss will randomly debuff party members while you are fighting him so be careful of that as well (this is the hardest boss of the whole run IMO)
- go back into the hallway and follow it into the room at the end
- take the open path on the left
FIFTH BOSS: Serried Bloodwolf:
- this boss also walks around in his room, so again take care when clearing mobs
- while you are fighting him he will say in red to keep your distance, when he says this run away from him, he will move his arms (i think 4 times) once he is done moving them it is safe to go back to him until he says to keep your distance again
- go back into the hallway and continue down it
- go into the room at the end of the hallway and open the door
SIXTH BOSS: Godless Devil Envoy:
- this boss aoes for damage as well as an aoe sleep, each time he says be devoured by nightmare the aoe is next
- after you kill the boss an npc will appear he will teleport you (however i am told you have to be 85+ to use this, the other party members must find their way to where it takes you)
- clear the room and open the door, down the path is a big room with the next boss
- clear the room of the mobs then take the boss
SEVENTH BOSS: Thalassic Elder:
- This boss spawns hands (they look like bombs in HH) and guards (they look just like the boss, just smaller). You want to kill the hands (best to have two people do this) but however leave the guards, they will go away, as you will see in red it says the hands will cause instant death and that if the guards die the party members will be harmed
- after you kill the boss an npc will spawn, have one person talk to the npc and the rest of the party spread out on the left side of the npc (if you are facing the npc). For a short ammount of time mobs will appear that are one hit kills, however they are only there for a short ammount of time, they disappear fast so kill them quick (i suggest wb goes in human form as that way they have ranged skills and some aoes)
- the person who talks to the npc will recieve a sincere after the mobs are gone
- once it says something about a door opening the mobs are done spawning
- continue to the right side of the room (if you are looking at the npc) and go into the open doorway on the back wall
EIGHTH BOSS: Aryl Recluse:
- this boss aoe stuns as well as curses
- after killing the boss run back into the room you were in and run to the opposite side and go in the open doorway on the back wall
NINTH BOSS: Ninth Phoenix:
- this boss will have to be lured by someone with range to get it low enough for the melee classes to hit it. Each time it says Crimson Sky Scorch it will aoe, it does damage as well as can seal you, the aoe will cause skill / attack interrupts. After killing him a red ball will show up (spirit of the phoenix or something like that) kill it
- continue through the room and take the path at the other side. A new mob is here called Centurion Generals, they aoe stun and will interrupt skills
- continue into the next room clearing mobs, then into the last room with the final 2 bosses
TENTH BOSS: Holan Snow:
- There are 2 of them, one big and one small, they are exactly the same (same hp, def, attack, etc) so it does not matter which one you kill. Lure one of them and kill it. It will appear it is switching aggro and swing at someone else other than the tank while you are killing it, however don't worry it will do no damage to that person
- after you kill either the big or the small one, you will see it says they will combine, then after there is a really big one
ELEVENTH BOSS: Holan Snow - True Self:
- This boss is a combination of the big and small snowman. At 3/4 hp he will begin to aoe, it comes each time after he says something about ice territory. This aoe will bring each party member down to half hp regardless of how much hp they have, in addition to this it slows attack and movement speeds
- after you kill him, the elder shows up, you can turn in a sincere and a true to get something which can give any number of things from fw rings down to less valuable things.
-throughout fw you can get things called past of frost walk, get 1,000 of these and you can exchange for a fw bow or quiot
